The intern will participate in cross-functional activities/projects involving various departments with an emphasis on Manufacturing Engineering. The intern will assist engineers and lab technicians in performing root cause investigation and failure analysis of failures from the factory, field, and/or quality testing of new components/software/documentation. The intern may be requested to track and manage material flow activities and provide a weekly progress report to the manager. The intern may be asked to perform other duties by the staff or manager. The intern will be evaluated on performance of the projects assigned and interaction with suppliers, other employees and customers. Work hours to be negotiated and agreed upon by the manager and intern.
Basic Requirements
· Ability to follow instructions
· Basic computer skills (Microsoft)
· Knowledge of any coding languages a plus
· Excellent communication skills
