Internship Length: 45 hrs
Requirements:
- Student will be required to meet with potential host, prior to final confirmation.
- Student must provide immunization records and be current on all vaccinations. Influenza is required after Oct 1st.
- Student must be able to complete 2 hours or more on site, per scheduled shift.
- Adhere to department requirements for processes and procedures as listed in job descriptions functions.
- Must complete all paperwork requested by Compass Memorial.
- Ability to follow instructions. Must have strong organizational and communication skills, be a team player, and enjoy working with the public without bias or prejudice.
- Must be detail-oriented. Professional and trustworthy conduct is required. Student must be courteous and respectful.
Experience/Education:
- Must be a high school student in good standing. Must be poised, mature and possess a positive attitude while being flexible.
- Attire - Compass Memorial's Dress Code and Appearance policy must be followed and will be provided to student prior to start date.
- Must enjoy working with all age groups without prejudice or bias.
- Must exercise confidentiality of patient and hospital information.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing at least 25 pounds.
