Office Hours: 7:30-5 M-F; 8-1 Sat

Technician Internship Responsibilities:

  • Meet and build relationships with our staff
  • Learn and understand the workflow of our shop
  • Assist with oil changes and tire rotations
  • Shadow and observe main shop technicians completing repair work
  • Assist our staff by keeping our shop clean

Technician Internship Requirements:

  • Problem solving abilities
  • Communication skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Must be a high school student in good standing and at least 16 years old
  • Preference given to students in the Auto-Tech Academy or those who have applied to admission
  • Close-toed shoes and long pants are expected.


THIS DESCRIPTION DOES NOT LIST ALL DUTIES. INTERN MAY BE ASKED TO PERFORM OTHER DUTIES BY THE STAFF OR SUPERVISOR. INTERN WILL BE EVALUATED ON PERFORMANCE OF THE PROJECTS LISTED AS WELL AS INTERACTION WITH EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS. ON-SITE HOURS WILL BE NEGOTIATED WITH EACH CANDIDATE.


SAFETY EXPECTATIONS, INCLUDING HARASSMENT, SHOULD BE REVIEWED WITH THE HOST.
