Assistant Teacher

Internship Length: 45 hrs
Office Hours: 9-3

Essential Functions:

Assist the band director with rehearsals. Student may perform his/her instrument to model for the younger students.
Listen to small groups to check for understanding.
Correct quizes from a student guide sheet.
Keep work areas neat and organized to promote positive image. Use appropriate behavior in keeping with the mission, vision and beliefs and in accordance with operating procedures and policies.

Minimum Requirements:

Skills/Knowledge: Ability to follow instructions. Must have strong organizational and communication skills, be a team player. Must be detail-oriented. Professional and trustworthy conduct is required. Must be courteous and respectful.
Enjoy working with children, self-starter, motivated, familiar with Microsoft Word and internet.
Must be a high school student in good standing. Must be poised, mature and possess a positive attitude while being flexible.
