Internship Length: 45 hrs
Office Hours: 8-5`

Essential Functions:

Assist in assembly and pre-delivery of equipment.
Assist in diagnostics of tractors and combines.
Clean, detail and assist in reconditioning used farm and lawn equipment.
Assist in general farm equipment repairs.
Maintain physical inventory of parts, clean and organize parts inventory, sort and shelve parts stock orders.
Help keep work areas neat and organized to promote positive image. Use appropriate behavior in keeping with the mission, vision and beliefs and in accordance with operating procedures and policies.

Minimum Requirements:

Skills/Knowledge: Ability to follow instructions. Must have strong organizational and communication skills, be a team player, and enjoy working with the public without bias or prejudice. Must be detail-oriented. Professional and trustworthy conduct is required. Must be courteous and respectful. Natural mechanical abilities helpful, along with basic knowledge of tools.
Must be a high school senior in good standing. Must be poised, mature and possess a positive attitude while being flexible.
Coveralls and/or soilable clothing is appropriate.

THIS DESCRIPTION DOES NOT LIST ALL DUTIES. INTERN MAY BE ASKED TO PERFORM OTHER DUTIES BY THE STAFF OR SUPERVISOR. INTERN WILL BE EVALUATED ON PERFORMANCE OF THE PROJECTS LISTED AS WELL AS INTERACTION WITH EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS. ON-SITE HOURS WILL BE NEGOTIATED WITH EACH CANDIDATE.

SAFETY EXPECTATIONS, INCLUDING HARASSMENT, SHOULD BE REVIEWED WITH THE HOST.
