Internship Length: 45 hrs
Office Hours: 9AM-4PM

Functions:

  • Student will support director in recruitment for MS focus groups

  • Student will support director in development of meetings with Hs volunteers

  • Student will asssit with social media campaigns for Ms/H s audiences

  • Student will assist with writing and publishing advocacy articles in area publications and websites

  • Student will assist director with advocacy and community volunteer training sessions.

  • Student may have the opportunity to attend the ASAC Youth Conference with the director

  • Student will represent the organization in a positive manner in all aspects.

  •  Requirements:

  •  Good communication, organization and interpersonal skills.

  •   Able to use basic office equipment including telephone, copier, fax, computer.

  • Prompt and dependable, takes pride and ownership in work.  Must be a self-starter, team player and able to perform routine tasks without being prompted.

  •  Must be a high school student in good standing.  Must be poised, mature and possess a positive attitude while being flexible.  Ability to follow instructions.  Professional and trustworthy conduct is required.  Must be courteous and respectful.

  • Business casual attire is required.
