Child Development Specialist Intern - Preschool

Internship Length: 90 hrs
Office Hours: 7:00 AM-6:00 PM

Functions:

-Assist with the classroom under the direct supervision of the director and staff members..
-Assist the students with educational play (games)
-Assist staff with redirecting the students as needed.
-Assist with the implementation of the lesson plan once they feel comfortable in the classroom.
-Assist in the supervision of outside play.

Requirements:
-Must be a student who is mature and is interested in working in child development and education.
-Must be a student in good standing and willing to perform necessary background checks
-Must adhere to all policies and procedures of the workplace.

THIS DESCRIPTION DOES NOT LIST ALL DUTIES. INTERN MAY BE ASKED TO PERFORM OTHER DUTIES BY THE STAFF OR SUPERVISOR. INTERN WILL BE EVALUATED ON PERFORMANCE OF THE PROJECTS LISTED AS WELL AS INTERACTION WITH EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS. ON-SITE HOURS WILL BE NEGOTIATED WITH EACH CANDIDATE.

SAFETY EXPECTATIONS, INCLUDING HARASSMENT, SHOULD BE REVIEWED WITH THE HOST.
