Floral Design Intern

Internship Length: 45 hrs
Office Hours: 9-5

Essential Functions:
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs

- Learn to operate register/handle money

- Process fresh cut flowers

- Process plants

- Wash Buckets

- Make Deliveries

- Call customers

- Water Houseplants

- Unbox merchandise

- Observe flower arranging (learn basics if applicable)

- Observe helping customers in person/on phone (learn to if applicable)

- Display work

Requirements:
- Adhere to all policies laid out in the policy handbook.

- Be 16 years of age or older and had a valid driver's license

- Be prompt, punctual, willing to learn, and communicative

- Be a student in good standing

THIS DESCRIPTION DOES NOT LIST ALL DUTIES. INTERN MAY BE ASKED TO PERFORM OTHER DUTIES BY THE STAFF OR SUPERVISOR. INTERN WILL BE EVALUATED ON PERFORMANCE OF THE PROJECTS LISTED AS WELL AS INTERACTION WITH EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS. ON-SITE HOURS WILL BE NEGOTIATED WITH EACH CANDIDATE.

SAFETY EXPECTATIONS, INCLUDING HARASSMENT, SHOULD BE REVIEWED WITH THE HOST.
