Essential Functions:

 · General office duties.

·   Assist with procedures (patient and staff permission required).

·  Help keep work areas neat and organized to promote positive image.  Use appropriate behavior in keeping with the mission, vision and beliefs and in accordance with operating procedures and policies.

 

 Minimum Requirements:

· Skills/Knowledge:  Ability to follow instructions.  Must have strong organizational and communication skills, be a team player, and enjoy working with the public withou

t bias or prejudice.  Must be detail-oriented.  Professional and trustworthy conduct is required.  Must be courteous and respectful.  Basic knowledge of office equipment is helpful (phone, copy machine, fax).  Confidentiality of patient information is required.

·  Must be a high school senior in good standing.  Must be poised, mature and possess a positive attitude while being flexible.

 

Business casual attire is required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The incumbent shall, at a minimum, be a graduate of a four-year bachelor’s degree Physical Therapist (PT) program, approved by the Commission on Accreditation I Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) and hold an applicable and current license to practice. One to three years experience working as a PT with patients/residents/clients in a related setting, preferred.

 

SUMMARY STATEMENT:

The incumbent shall be responsible for providing a full range of physical therapy services including assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards.  The incumbent shall also demonstrate accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem-solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion.
