Essential Functions:

·                      Assist accounting department to perform a wide variety of tasks. 

·                      Data/order entry into computer.

·                      Sort and deliver mail daily.

·                      Filing of accounting documents.

·                      Reconcile various accounting documents and data, confirm their accuracy.

·                      Coordinating weekly bill payment and daily invoice mailing.

·                      Willing to assist production department as required.

·                      Keep work areas neat and organized to promote positive image. 
·                      Use appropriate behavior in keeping with the mission, vision, and beliefs, and in accordance with operating procedures and policies.


Minimum Requirements:

·                      Good communication, organization and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow instructions. 

·                      Proficiency in accounting, math, accurate with numbers and reconciling data.  Must be detail-oriented.

·                      General understanding of principles of bookkeeping and accounting highly preferred.

·                      Experience with computers and accounting software (MS Excel and QuickBooks preferred).

·                      Prompt and dependable, takes pride and ownership in work.  

·                      Disciplined self-starter, team player and able to perform routine tasks without being prompted.

·                      Must be a high school student in good standing.  
·                      Poised, mature and possess a positive attitude while being flexible, professional, courteous and respectful. 

·                      Business (very) casual attire.

·                      Must be a high school junior or senior and a minimum of 17 years of age and a citizen of the United States.

This description does not list all duties. Intern may be asked to perform other duties by the staff or supervisor. Intern will be evaluated on performance of the projects listed as well as interaction with employees and clients. On-site hours will be negotiated with each candidate.
