Schneider Electric is a multinational Corporation Headquartered in France.We are dedicated to the idea of allowing our customers across the globe to make the most of their energy. We have potential for an opening in our Cedar Rapids location for a summer high school internship in the Offer Marketing team.  This team is responsible for providing the overall guidance and management of our Circuit Breaker offering, and Schneider Electric is the worldwide leader.  Our products are helping to power schools, industries, hospitals, data centers, and airports; basically everywhere you have electricity.

Depending on company need, the work could involve:
> Help documenting new training & promotion tools for our offers
> Involved with Engineering teams to work on offer improvements and innovations
> Planning and prioritization of needed changes on offers, to improve supply chains, etc..
> Budget process, prioritization of activities and monthly management of budget
> Promotion & planning of new high tech offers

Interns will be exposed to:
> 4P's of Marketing, with strong focus on 'Product'
> Product Management role with a technical offer, which requires a combination of technical and business skills
> Learning Critical Power applications (data centers, hospitals, military, nuclear)
> Marketing in Business to Business environment (which is much different than commercial products)
> Engineering topics, mechanical, electrical, and product testing
> Supply Chain topics, with a worldwide footprint of manufacturing plants and suppliers

Requirements:
Basic understanding of Marketing
Comfortable to do some basic video recording and save files
Ability to organize files in computer directories
Basic skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

THIS DESCRIPTION DOES NOT LIST ALL DUTIES. INTERN MAY BE ASKED TO PERFORM OTHER DUTIES BY THE STAFF OR SUPERVISOR. INTERN WILL BE EVALUATED ON PERFORMANCE OF THE PROJECTS LISTED AS WELL AS INTERACTION WITH EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS. ON-SITE HOURS WILL BE NEGOTIATED WITH EACH CANDIDATE.

SAFETY EXPECTATIONS, INCLUDING HARASSMENT, SHOULD BE REVIEWED WITH THE HOST.
