Office Hours: 7:00 AM-3:00 PM

Essential Functions:
Data entry in a continuous process production facility manufacturing microcrystalline cellulose
Assist in analyzing and posting data collected from production and packaging material
Update various spreadsheets and databases to track test results and to monitor quality
Effectively communicate with production and other lab personnel about in-process quality
Student will be trained on necessary computer program if needed (mostly Excel is used)

Minimum Student Requirements:
Must have completed AP Chemistry successfully
Ability to follow instructions and take direction
Ability to work independently but ask questions when needed
Strong organizational and communication skills
Attention to detail
Professional and respectful demeanor
Mature attitude
45-hour internship only

THIS DESCRIPTION DOES NOT LIST ALL DUTIES. INTERN MAY BE ASKED TO PERFORM OTHER DUTIES BY THE STAFF OR SUPERVISOR. INTERN WILL BE EVALUATED ON PERFORMANCE OF THE PROJECTS LISTED AS WELL AS INTERACTION WITH EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS. ON-SITE HOURS WILL BE NEGOTIATED WITH EACH CANDIDATE.
