Graphic Design Assistant

Internship Length: 45 hrs

Essential Functions:

· Will assist professionals in the development of promotional materials that may include business cards, brochures and other printed materials, and signs of varying sizes and construction.

· Will utilize a computer and work in Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design and layout programs.

· Will be trained (as time permits) in graphics production requirements.

· Projects will be varied and creativity will be required. Flexibility is a definite asset.

Minimum Requirements:

· Skills/Knowledge: Ability to follow instructions. Basic understanding of communication skills. Professional and trustworthy conduct is required. Must be courteous and respectful. Professional customer service skills and attitude are essential.

· Willingness to learn. Ability to stay on task with minimal supervision.

· Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

· Must be a high school student in good standing. Must be poised, mature, and possess a positive attitude while being flexible.

· Modest casual attire is required.
