Business Management Intern

Internship Length: 45 hrs
Office Hours: 7:00 AM-4:30 PM

The intern will assist with a variety of activities based on their department needs during the summer months. This may include participating  in different meetings with internal and external customers. This internship will include learning and understanding different parts of our business functions. The intern will learn a variety of different systems and tools necessary to complete daily tasks. The intern will be required to interact with a variety of different departments including but not limited to Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, and Human Resources. The intern will be required to provide a weekly progress report to the manager. The intern may be asked to perform other duties by the staff or manager. Work hours to be negotiated and agreed upon by the manager and intern.

Basic Requirements:

·        Ability to follow instructions

·        Basic computer skills (Microsoft)

·        Excellent communication skills (Verbal and written)

·        Maintains all confidentiality of our business and customers’ Proprietary Information

·        Must be a high school junior or senior

THIS DESCRIPTION DOES NOT LIST ALL DUTIES. INTERN MAY BE ASKED TO PERFORM OTHER DUTIES BY THE STAFF OR SUPERVISOR. INTERN WILL BE EVALUATED ON PERFORMANCE OF THE PROJECTS LISTED AS WELL AS INTERACTION WITH EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS. ON-SITE HOURS WILL BE NEGOTIATED WITH EACH CANDIDATE.

SAFETY EXPECTATIONS, INCLUDING HARASSMENT, SHOULD BE REVIEWED WITH THE HOST.
