Teaching Assistant

Internship Length: 45 hrs

Essential Functions:

Will work assigned hours per week.
Will work with teacher rotation assignments as directed by principal.
Will assist in preparing lessons/labs.
Will help students.
Will complete some grading tasks. (labs, assignments)
Help keep work areas neat and organized to promote positive image.
Will assist in setting up/taking down lab exercises
Make copies/overheads for lessons

Minimum Requirements:

Skills/Knowledge: Ability to follow instructions. Professional and trustworthy conduct is required. Must be courteous and respectful. Ability to learn quickly. Must communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
Must be poised, mature and possess a positive attitude while being flexible.
Must be a Junior/Senior year student in good academic standing.

THIS DESCRIPTION DOES NOT LIST ALL DUTIES. INTERN MAY BE ASKED TO PERFORM OTHER DUTIES BY THE STAFF OR SUPERVISOR. INTERN WILL BE EVALUATED ON PERFORMANCE OF THE PROJECTS LISTED AS WELL AS INTERACTION WITH EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS. ON-SITE HOURS WILL BE NEGOTIATED WITH EACH CANDIDATE.

SAFETY EXPECTATIONS, INCLUDING HARASSMENT, SHOULD BE REVIEWED WITH THE HOST.
