• Interns under the resident services director will learn the skills needed for planning, implementing and monitoring services for residents within housing, assisted living, and care center consistent with regulations. 

• Interns will learn to support residents through resident advocacy, service coordination, marketing & admission processes. 

• Interns will learn the need of a liaison between management and residents.  

• Interns will lean how to work with referring agencies such as hospitals, hospices & home health agencies in finding potential housing placement options.
         

  THIS DESCRIPTION DOES NOT LIST ALL DUTIES. INTERN MAY BE ASKED TO PERFORM OTHER DUTIES BY THE STAFF OR SUPERVISOR. INTERN WILL BE EVALUATED ON PERFORMANCE OF THE PROJECTS LISTED AS WELL AS INTERACTION WITH EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS. ON-SITE HOURS WILL BE NEGOTIATED WITH EACH CANDIDATE.

  SAFETY EXPECTATIONS, INCLUDING HARASSMENT, SHOULD BE REVIEWED WITH THE HOST.
