Internship Length: 45 hrs

The CNA intern will learn resident care by providing certified personal care and services to residents under the supervision of the nursing staff.
CNA interns will learn to assist residents with activities of daily living and life skills, snack and meal preparation and service, companionship, medication checks, escorting, housekeeping, laundry, social activities and special events.
CNA interns will learn to maintain all required documentation in accordance with regulations and established policies and procedures.

THIS DESCRIPTION DOES NOT LIST ALL DUTIES. INTERN MAY BE ASKED TO PERFORM OTHER DUTIES BY THE STAFF OR SUPERVISOR. INTERN WILL BE EVALUATED ON PERFORMANCE OF THE PROJECTS LISTED AS WELL AS INTERACTION WITH EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS. ON-SITE HOURS WILL BE NEGOTIATED WITH EACH CANDIDATE.

SAFETY EXPECTATIONS, INCLUDING HARASSMENT, SHOULD BE REVIEWED WITH THE HOST.
