Internship Length: 45 hrs
Office Hours: varies

Essential Functions:
-  Will be responsible for working one-on-one or in small groups with 9th and 10th grade students
-  Will assist the teacher with the grading or assessment of student work
-  Will assist the teacher in organization and functions of the FFA Chapter
-  Will assist teacher with research and lesson development
-  Will assist the teacher in planning and/or all other basic day-to-day responsibilities (such as leading discussions, assisting students, filing, updating bulletin boards, making copies, etc…)

Minimum Requirements
:
-  Skills/Knowledge:  Ability to follow instructions.  Professional and trustworthy conduct is required.  Must be courteous and respectful. Ability to learn quickly.  Must communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
-  Must be poised, mature and possess a positive attitude while being flexible.
-  Must be a Junior/Senior year student in good academic standing.
-  Must be interested in pursuing a degree in Ag education.

THIS DESCRIPTION DOES NOT LIST ALL DUTIES. INTERN MAY BE ASKED TO PERFORM OTHER DUTIES BY THE STAFF OR SUPERVISOR. INTERN WILL BE EVALUATED ON PERFORMANCE OF THE PROJECTS LISTED AS WELL AS INTERACTION WITH EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS. ON-SITE HOURS WILL BE NEGOTIATED WITH EACH CANDIDATE.

 

SAFETY EXPECTATIONS, INCLUDING HARASSMENT, SHOULD BE REVIEWED WITH THE HOST.
