The philosophy underlying our Assisted Living program focuses upon providing a homelike environment and maximizing independence. To achieve this end, the setting in which our services are provided have features that are or approximate those associated with individual residences. Maximizing independence in support of autonomy implies the ability to organize and deliver services in ways that recognize variation in individual function.  It requires support of the individual’s right to take responsibility for the risk associated with decision-making commensurate with his or her level of ability and to live as normal a lifestyle as possible.
