We specialize in hotels, motels, resorts, multi-unit dwellings, corporate offices and metropolitan hotspots.

Description of Project:

Using Chef automation tools build recipes/cookbooks (ruby scripts) that facilitate the automated deployment, configuration and setup of Linux virtual servers and applications.
Project may include setup of a chef server and client management software in addition to building deployment scripts. Learn the basics/foundation of DevOps in a real world environment with real applications and services.

Minimum Requirements:

- In depth knowledge of Linux, command line tools, Linux administration
- Strong drive to self learning
- Good communication skills and a team player
- Curiosity about software, computers, software engineering, and design
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git

THIS DESCRIPTION DOES NOT LIST ALL DUTIES. INTERN MAY BE ASKED TO PERFORM OTHER DUTIES BY THE STAFF OR SUPERVISOR. INTERN WILL BE EVALUATED ON PERFORMANCE OF THE PROJECTS LISTED AS WELL AS INTERACTION WITH EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS. ON-SITE HOURS WILL BE NEGOTIATED WITH EACH CANDIDATE.
