Internship Title: Marketing Intern

 

General Summary:

Assists the marketing department in advertising and promotional efforts.  Completing clerical and administrative duties, building social media campaigns and preparing promotional materials.

Essential Job Functions:   

  • Answers incoming telephone calls and responds to customer questions. 
  • Prepares service orders and trouble tickets as necessary.
  • Help to develop and post social media content.
  • Help create videos for content on website, newsletters and social media outlets.
  • Help create content for all marketing venues. 
  • Design marketing materials for all outlets of our business.
  • Measure customer satisfaction with products and services.
  • Develop tools, methods for collecting data such as surveys, opinion polls or questionnaires. 
  • Assist with events as needed.
  • Other duties as you see as a benefit or assigned by Marketing Coordinator.

  • Ability to organize, prioritize and handle multiple work assignments.
  • Ability to complete work accurately under time constraints and deadlines. 
  • Skill in oral and written communication.
  • Ability to communicate with customers, employees and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner.

  • Ability to work with frequent interruptions.

 

Working relationships:

  • The Marketing Intern will report to the Marketing Coordinator but will also actively support the General Manager and others in the Marketing Department.
  • Occasional interaction and contact with stakeholders, shareholders, customers, investors, auditors, tax officials and finance and investment consultants.

 

THIS DESCRIPTION DOES NOT LIST ALL DUTIES. INTERN MAY BE ASKED TO PERFORM OTHER DUTIES BY THE STAFF OR SUPERVISOR. INTERN WILL BE EVALUATED ON PERFORMANCE OF THE PROJECTS LISTED AS WELL AS INTERACTION WITH EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS. ON-SITE HOURS WILL BE NEGOTIATED WITH EACH CANDIDATE.

SAFETY EXPECTATIONS, INCLUDING HARASSMENT, SHOULD BE REVIEWED WITH THE HOST.
