Landscaping and Lawn Care Intern

Essential Functions:

Landscaping installs and maintenance
Brush cleanup
Leaf removal and cleanup
Potential snow removal
Help keep jobsite neat and organized to promote positive image. Use appropriate behavior in keeping with the mission, vision and beliefs and in accordance with operating procedures and policies.

Minimum Requirements:

Ability to thoroughly follow instructions and have strong time-management skills. Must have communication skills, be collaborative, and enjoy working in a team environment. Professional and ethical conduct is required. Natural mechanical abilities helpful, along with basic knowledge of tools and a construction environment.
Must be a high school student in good standing.
Student must wear appropriate clothing (nothing loose or baggy) and should wear a work shoe or boot. A professional appearance is essential.

THIS DESCRIPTION DOES NOT LIST ALL DUTIES. INTERN MAY BE ASKED TO PERFORM OTHER DUTIES BY THE STAFF OR SUPERVISOR. INTERN WILL BE EVALUATED ON PERFORMANCE OF THE PROJECTS LISTED AS WELL AS INTERACTION WITH EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS. ON-SITE HOURS WILL BE NEGOTIATED WITH EACH CANDIDATE.

SAFETY EXPECTATIONS, INCLUDING HARASSMENT, SHOULD BE REVIEWED WITH THE HOST.
