Floral Designer Intern
About the Internship:
This internship gives high school students hands-on experience in floral design and shop operations. Interns will learn the art of arranging flowers, supporting customer service, and managing floral inventory while exploring creativity in a professional setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with creating floral arrangements, bouquets, and event designs.

Learn basic techniques in cutting, arranging, and caring for flowers and plants.

Help maintain the shop, including cleaning, organizing, and restocking supplies.

Support customer service by greeting clients, taking orders, and preparing pickups/deliveries.

Assist with event preparation such as weddings, banquets, or holidays.

Learn proper flower care, handling, and storage techniques.

Complete assignments, reflection journals, or internship workbook entries as required by the program

THIS DESCRIPTION DOES NOT LIST ALL DUTIES. INTERN MAY BE ASKED TO PERFORM OTHER DUTIES BY THE STAFF OR SUPERVISOR. INTERN WILL BE EVALUATED ON PERFORMANCE OF THE PROJECTS LISTED AS WELL AS INTERACTION WITH EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS. ON-SITE HOURS WILL BE NEGOTIATED WITH EACH CANDIDATE.
