Industries We Serve - Agriculture, Construction Equipment, Lawn & Garden, Floor Cleaning Equipment, Medical Equipment, Vehicles, Safety and other.

Essential:

Assist with procurement activities to achieve efficient, on-time and cost-effective delivery of quality materials necessary for Centro’s manufacturing
Assist in the development and implementation of Centro’s procurement strategies and supply management
Work closely with engineering, sales and manufacturing to fully understand their needs and respond
Help keep work areas neat and organized to promote positive image. Use appropriate behavior in keeping with the mission, vision and beliefs and in accordance with operating procedures and policies.

Minimum Requirements:

Skills/Knowledge: Good communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
Interest in purchasing and materials management. Must be able to organize, coordinate and implement detailed purchasing and materials management plans in a timely manner. Excellent analytical skills are required and a commitment to safety.
Able to use basic office equipment including telephone, copier, fax, computer.
Prompt and dependable, takes pride and ownership in work. Must be a self-starter, team player and able to perform routine tasks without being prompted.
Must be a high school student in good standing. Must be poised, mature and possess a positive attitude while being flexible. Ability to follow instructions. Professional and trustworthy conduct is required. Must be courteous and respectful.
Business casual attire.

THIS DESCRIPTION DOES NOT LIST ALL DUTIES. INTERN MAY BE ASKED TO PERFORM OTHER DUTIES BY THE STAFF OR SUPERVISOR. INTERN WILL BE EVALUATED ON PERFORMANCE OF THE PROJECTS LISTED AS WELL AS INTERACTION WITH EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS. ON-SITE HOURS WILL BE NEGOTIATED WITH EACH CANDIDATE.
